These Anchor Hocking 12 oz glasses are a nice size, cheap price, and a nice flame ‘Starfire’ design. They are heavy and appear durable. But what you can’t see in the picture is that they have 2 vertical lines (one on each opposite side) from the mold, and a very slight, smooth bump on the rim, probably where the glass was injected. These molding artifacts are not very obvious at a quick glance, but they are easily visible up close. This rules out these glasses for formal use.
I’m dissapointed, but at this price can’t complain except for the fact the online picture doesn’t show the artifacts. It is possible that this glass design was produced in earlier years by a different process, because I have seen earlier reviews elsewhere that seem to imply they are of better quality.

As stated, these glasses are nice enough for guests, and sturdy enough for every day use. They have a very satin-type feel to them, too!

i just got these cups they are really nice.. but each and every cup came with a sticker on the bottom which is a real pain to get off!
otherwise they are great!
