  1. This was a great container at the promo price of $5.99, great for presents ect. I would be disappointed if I had to spend $25.00, (this is more like a $12-$15 piece of crystal.) I rated it 4 stars because of the price I recieved it at. It is a nice design, but the cuts aren’t as crisp as I thought they would be, and the container isn’t as big as I expected it to be. It would be perfect for sugar, tea packets, loose cigarettes, or candy, maybe “small” buscuits. Do not think that this is a large container because it isn’t. I hope this helped other amazonions.

  2. The Godinger Biscuit Barrel is nice for a fancier-looking crystal jar. It can be used as a SMALL cookie jar and makes a pretty gift for the older generation or more traditional people. It doesn’t particularly reflect light very easily though, so it looks more like glass than crystal. Also, another thing to note is that this is selling at the local Walmart store for $8.00 in the holiday gifts section, so it might not be worth the $25.00 retail that is listed here.

  3. I rec’d this as a promo with a recent glass purchase and was sooooo pleasantly surprised how lovely and functional this item is…nice addition to the other Godinger glassware I have.

  4. I was looking for a nice wide mouth container that would fit nicely with my crystal sugar, splenda, cocoa, and cinnamon sugar jars and was very happy to find this. I needed something quite a bit bigger than a sugar server, but I wanted a similar design. This is quite a bit smaller than a traditional cookie jar, but much larger than a sugar server.

I serve a lot of tea and wanted to keep my tea bags in a convenient spot on my countertops. This holds about 40-50 tea bags and is very well made as well as pretty. I would highly recommend this crystal jar for smaller kitchen items such as candy, tea bags, splenda packets, and small snacks.
