Renowned European glassmaker Riedel designs the shape of each glass to most fully enhance the appreciation of the wine within. To meet the demand of today’s increasingly more concentrated wines, Riedel developed the Vinum Extreme line, which features a pronounced diamond shaped bowl. The widest of the line’s red wine glasses, each standing 9-1/2 inches tall and holding a whopping 29-5/8 ounces at full capacity, the two Vinum Extreme glasses in this set are designed especially to give Pinot Noir and Red Burgundy the broad breathing surface they require. At the same time, the modern diamond shape looks distinctly snazzier than typical wine stems.

Though Vinum Extreme glasses are machine-made to be affordable, the glasses consist of 24 percent lead crystal for exceptional clarity and brilliance.
