23 Years ago Waterford has a collection of Ornaments that showcased the Twelve Days of Christmas. It is because of that populartity that Waterford has come up with a spin on that original collection and has adapted the patterns for a collection of flutes, each one showcasing a particular Waterford pattern and twelve days symbol. The Eighth in this series is the Eight Maids A Milking on a flute cut with the Tramore. Also included is a silverplated ring charm with a clear enhancer. This collection’s flutes are sold as singles in a hinged red gift box.

Kind of a sales tactic. You get one or two, and then decide to be collectible, you should buy the whole set as they come out. So now I have 4, and don’t know what to do with them. The boxes they’re in are large, so not easy to store either.
And the engraving is really just a cheaply done etched picture, with little artistic merit.
But if you like Waterford, have money to burn, and have plenty of room to store a 5x5x10″ box for each one, what the hay? Go crazy…
The whole set will probably set you back about $450-500 on sale.

Beauty and Holiday tradition in one, I hope we will continue to buy future editions and complete the set of 12 in 2011. I will probably give them to my son when he has his own family, If I happened to like his wife

I bought this for my daughter, second year in a row to purchase one for her Christmas gift. The first one was purchased from Von Maurs Department store, and shipped from Fort Wayne Indiana. This year I found it for a lot less at Amazon and was here in a few days from ordering it, in time for her to recieve it before she left to go to their home in Alto New Mexico. It was beautiful, well packed, and the price was wonderful, thank you for being there for me this Christmas season.

I started the 12 Days of Christmas collection for my mom last year. This year I purchased this year’s (8th addition) and the 7th addition that I was missing. Amazon had by far the lowest price and with no shipping and tax it was not only the perfect gift but the best price. The products where well wrapped, were brand new in perfect condition and came in time for X-mas as promised on the shipping dates.
